Its only love [Luffy x reader pt 2]

Luffy. 

She could smell him. His warm, overflowing presence engulfing her entire being in a comfortable and peaceful feeling. Easing her restless heart. But a sudden thought occurred to her, she was not sleeping, so why was she dreaming of Luffy.

Looking up suddenly, (Y/n) found herself staring into the face of the man previously mentioned. Monkey D Luffy, the soon to be Pirate king and her one and only love. His face was peaceful, his breathing deep and rhythmic. Yet (y/n) didn't want to stay wrapped in his arms, for fear of embarrassment from the straw hat crew. 

She could feel her face growing hotter as she remembered Luffy pulling her close that night. She was happy, that was for sure. However, she was trapped in an awkward situation with no way out.

Luffy's arms where wrapped multiple times around (y/n)'s body, acting as a sort of rope. And for a moment, (y/n) cursed the power of his Gomu-gomu fruit. Squirming and trying to wriggle herself free, (Y/n) began to panic. What would happen if the boys woke up before Luffy?

It was almost impossible to wake Luffy without waving a piece of meat in front of his face. And this would mean Sanji would wake up before Luffy. Normally this wouldn't be bad, but given the current circumstances, the love crazed cook would not sit lightly upon discovering the position (Y/n) was in with her beloved Captain.

But she couldn't help but enjoy the feeling of her legs tangled with his, his arms wrapped tightly around her. Her face pressed against his warm chest firmly. It was a comfortable feeling, despite feeling embarrassed about it.

Her face burned even darker red as she realized how close she was to Luffy. She was pressed firmly against him, from her head all the way down to her toes, not one inch was not up against Luffy. She didn't mind to much, she had always secretly wanted to be this close to him, but she had been much to shy to do so.

"Why the fuck are you sleeping with Luffy?" Zoro's annoyed voice reached her ears and she turned bright red again. Stammering out a reply filled with nonsense, making Zoro raise a curious brow, she gave him a pleading look.

"I-I'm stuck...could you help?" (Y/n) asked shyly, her eyes glancing around nervously. She was unable to look the man in the face due to her increasing embarrassment. Zoro gave her a blank look before a smirk crawled along his lips.

"Nope...unless you want me to chop his arms off." Zoro replied evilly, he was most definitely amused by the situation. (Y/n)'s eyes widened to the size of plates and she began to ramble on in panic about how he shouldn't cut Luffy's arms off. This only made Zoro's smirk widen.

Zoro knew. In fact, Zoro, Robin and Nami where the only ones on the crew who knew that (Y/n) was deeply in love with the crazy Captain. Zoro had known before even (Y/n) herself had become consciously aware of her feelings for Luffy. Perhaps it was in Alabasta, when Ace had mentioned (y/n)'s oddly fond and clingy behavior towards Luffy to Nami, that said orange haired woman had found out about (Y/n)'s feelings.

It was true though, (Y/n) was unnecessarily clingy. And while most of the strawhats would prefer not to go anywhere with Luffy on an island for fear of him getting them killed, (Y/n) would voluntarily follow the boy anywhere he went without a complaint. She was usually with Luffy when he got separated from the crew, and this helped ease their minds most of the time, since Luffy needed a constant baby sitter to prevent him from causing trouble. 

Even though (Y/n) was never far away from Luffy, he still seemed to get into all kinds of crazy trouble. Perhaps that was because (Y/n) was so lenient when it came to the oblivious boy. She couldn't seem to tell him what to do, and this made Luffy fond of her. Luffy did not like to be told what to do, he'd do the opposite if he was told what to do.

"What are you yapping about stupid marimo-" Sanji paused mid sentence, his face rather shocked into a horrified expression as he stared at (Y/n) wrapped in Luffy's arms. Zoro took this as his cue to leave, and promptly left the room. Sanji was frozen to his spot, his mouth wide open. It was unclear what was going through his head at the moment in time.

"HOW DARE YOU LUFFY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Y/N)-CHWAN IS A DELICATE LITTLE FLOWER, GET YOUR GRUBBY MITS OFF OF HER." Sanji screamed angrily, grabbing Luffy by the neck and shaking him ferociously with a fire in his blue eyes. (Y/n)'s eyes where wide and horrified as she was dropped to the floor with a sudden thump, Luffy's arms having come unraveled from around her. 

This made Usopp, Brook, Chopper and Franky awake with a start. Each of them grabbing their respective weapons or jumping into a fighting stance. They then noticed Sanji choking Luffy, Luffy who had his eyes in the shape of swirls as he stayed limp in Sanji's hands. Luffy making comical "dizzy" sounds as he was shaken.

Chopper rushed over to (Y/n) who held her head in pain, tears rolling down her face. "SANJI-SAN, DON'T KILL LUFFY!" Usopp screamed in horror, grabbing Sanji's arms in an attempt to stop said man from choking Luffy to death. Franky was quick to aid Usopp, while Brook just watched the scene in confusion.

Sanji was pulled away from Luffy, Luffy falling onto the floor limply, his eyes in the shapes of X's. (Y/n) burst into tears, sobbing uncontrollably. "L-Luffy-kun, i-i'm so sorry! This is a-all my fault." She cried guiltily, Sanji upon seeing (Y/n)'s tears began stomping on Luffy's face.

"YOU STRAW HAT WEARING BASTARD, YOU MADE THE BEAUTIFUL (Y/N)-CHWAN CRY!!!!" Sanji's angry yells filled the room as Luffy stayed silent.
 
"ALL OF YOU SHUT UP ITS 7 IN THE MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Nami's furious tone made everyone jump out of their skin, Sanji swirling over to Nami with a "Ys, nami-swaaaaan~"

Luffy sat up, rubbing his eyes and looked around in confusion. "Huh? How'd I end up on the floor?" Luffy asked.

At this (Y/n) burst into tears, tackling Luffy with a bone crushing hug. "LUFFY-SAAAAAAN YOU'RE ALRIGHT!" (y/n) screamed through her tears. Luffy's eyes widened as he hit the floor suddenly, his arms wrapping around her to break her fall. 

"whoa whoa, (Y/n) did you miss me that much? Geez, you stayed in my bed with me even. Well, guess it can't be helped." Luffy chuckled innocently. Everyone in the room turned to him with shocked looks on their faces. 

Nami smiled, realizing what had happened. Robin smiled in amusement, planning something wicked to get the two together. Usopp, Brook, Franky, and Chopper all looked completely lost and shocked. 

"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" They screamed in confusion. Chopper, Usopp and Brook's faces turned a deep crimson. Brook turned to Luffy sharply and gave him a curious look.

"What color where (Y/n)-san's panties?" Brook asked, (Y/n) turned bright red and hid her face in Luffy's chest. Luffy blinked in confusion, and raised a curious brow. He then laughed innocently at Brook.

"Panties? eheheheheheheheheh, I never saw any panties." Luffy said, Sanji's face suddenly turned bright red as he got a determined and serious look on his face.

"PERHAPS...(Y/N)-CHWAN DOESN'T WEAR PANTIES?" Sanji yelled in shock, only to be punched in the head by Nami, along with Brook. 

"You pervs, nothing happened between them...other than cuddling." Nami stated, Luffy laughed hysterically as (Y/n) with a bright face hid behind Luffy, peaking out from behind his shoulder. 

"You guys are to funny! right, (Y/n)-chan?" Luffy asked joyfully, (Y/n) blushed in reply, and Luffy quickly forgot what he had asked. Smiling brightly, Luffy stood up and stretched. A large yawn escaping his lips. 

"Sanji, i'm hungry. Meat please." Luffy stated bluntly, rubbing his belly and drooling. Sanji glared, lighting a cigarette and punching Luffy in the head. Luffy didn't seem to care, he just kept smiling despite being hit.

"It's too early for meat, dumbass." Sanji growled, (Y/n) backed away from the two in fear. Luffy frowned and pouted. "But I WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT MEAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT." Luffy whined, his stomach growling in agreement. (Y/n) popped up from beneath Luffy's arm, staring at Sanji with a pleading look. She looked away from Sanji shyly, clenching a hand above her chest.

"S-sanji-kun...i-I'd l-like s-some meat...to." She whispered, Sanji turned bright red, his ears spewing steam as he grabbed (Y/n)'s hands excitedly.

"YES OF COURSE~ (Y/N)-CHWAAAAN~" Sanji screamed, Usopp blinked in confusion, furrowing his eyebrows. 

"But...(Y/n)-san...I thought you where a vegetaria-" (Y/n) covered Usopp's mouth with her hand, turning bright red and looking down shyly. 

"S-Sanji-kun...I-I want...L-lot's of meat." (Y/n) whispered, barely able to get it out as she felt very conflicted about the situation. Sanji twirled off to comply to (Y/n)'s wishes. 

(Y/n) turned to Luffy, flinching as Luffy glared at her. "I hate you! I WANT ALL THE MEAT!" Luffy growled childishly. (Y/n) turned bright red, sending him a nervous smile and putting her hands up in surrender. 

"Luffy, I o-only asked f-for meat for you...S-so...S-sanji would m-make it for you." (Y/n) turned dark red, shyly turning away from Luffy. Usopp made a realization face, about to proclaim his realization, but Nami covered his mouth gave him an intimidating glare. 

"Say it and i'll kill you...Usopp." Nami growled, being overly protective of her OTP. Usopp gulped and nodded to tell Nami he understood. (Y/n) smiled at Nami in relief. Nami grabbed (Y/n)'s hands excitedly, smiling brightly at (Y/n). 

"(y/n)-chan! Lets go take a bath!" Nami said excitedly, (Y/n) blushed a little, embarrassed by her friends actions but smiled anyways. Nodding her head, (Y/n) agreed to Nami's question. 

Luffy sat up at this with a lank face. "Can I come to?" Luffy asked curiously, Nami screamed a no and punched Luffy in the head. To which (Y/n) tried to prevent Nami from murdering Luffy.

What a crazy morning, but, thats how it is with the one you love. Especially if you love Monkey D Luffy...yeah, its only Love. Only a crazy, insane, bipolar, scary, and adventurous Love.
